One of our core focuses as a board is to streamline and strengthen our communications. We want to make sure every resident can be informed and aware of all that is happening at Highland Oaks. As we looked over our communication opportunities with our new management company, we found a conflict in our email lists. We had inadvertently created two different lists - one that was a general events email list signup on our website and the second list which was a formal authorization for paperless communication for all HOIA business.
As a result of this confusion, we are are asking all residents who have NOT yet submitted an Electronic Consent form to please download the form here and submit it via fax, email, mail or in person to:

Why Go Paperless?
Email communication via electronic consent allows us to be clearer, quicker and more consistent in our updates and is a HUGE savings to our operational budget. You can also have more than just one email per household receiving updates. We currently have 100 out of 361 residents who are receiving HOIA information electronically and our goal is to see at least 280 residents signed up on electronic consent by this summer.
What's Next?
Over the next month we will hand deliver the electronic consent form to each resident to encourage signups. Moving forward we will continue to make our website a place to find the latest information on all that is happening at Highland Oaks. We will then use printed newsletters, hand delivered to every home during the spring to update everyone on latest news, cabana improvements and the 2018 calendar as well as pushing to get more people signed up.
We understand that there will be some people in the community who won’t or can’t sign up to digital communication, however the smaller the number of people the easier for everyone. So, please sign up and tell your neighbors to sign up as well.
We will still use NextDoor to mirror posts that are live on our website so if you haven't signed up, just check out NextDoor.com.
