Pool Bathrooms Renovation Update
One of the key focuses for this year is to see the renovation of our pool bathrooms. We understand this project is long overdue and appreciate everyone's patience as we have assembled the right team and professionals to see this project come together.
We have hired Mark Stoklos as our architect for this project. Mark has completed the as-built drawings portion of the project and is awaiting the plans from the surveyor which detail the elements for the site plan of the cabana club property. We met with 4 architecture firms and obtained 2 bids for the survey work. Our next step is to see the completion of the survey and the initial schematic design for the bathrooms.
One area of concern is the ADA (American Disabilities Act) standards for the rests of the property and the potential requirement to address some aspects of our property that do not meet ADA standards. Specifically, we have been told the ramp leading up to the gate and the parking space is not ADA compliant. We are exploring this issue as we move through the design process but want residents to know that this is a potential concern. We will do our best to keep everyone updated as things progress.
